Amethyst Wisteria
This superb native Wisteria is a more compact grower making it suitable for smaller gardens or a container. The fragrant 5-6 flower clusters will delight you on the patio and are attractive to hummingbirds. Can be trained to 8-10' tall or allowed to grow along a fence up to 30'. Blooms heaviest in late spring and early summer with repeats throughout the summer. You do not have to wait for years for this one to bloom like other Wisterias. Sun to partial Shade. Zones 5-9.
