Cardoon
Rated by the Royal Horticultural Society as one of the top plants of the last 200 years, Cardoon has impressive jagged grey-green foliage that arches gracefully away from the center of the 3' by 3' plants. In late summer, they are topped with frilly violet flowers on 6' stems. Truly a striking and architectural specimen for a sunny garden area.
