Carolina Allspice
Highly rated by plant experts, this native shrub produces reddish-bronze flowers from spring to summer with a fragrance that permeates the garden. It has been described as a combination of strawberry, pineapple and banana. Grows 6-9' tall with a similar spread. Easy to grow in sunny to partially shaded areas. The shiny dark green foliage turns golden yellow in the fall. Deer tolerant.
