Portable 10-stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System provides safe, pure high quality drinking water and convenience of Reverse Osmosis filtration wherever your may need it. Requires 50 psi or higher water pressure to operate. 10-Stage Portable Reverse Osmosis System process: * Stage 1: Water flows through pre one - micron filter pads (1 micron equals 1/25,000th of an inch), which remove suspended particles such as silt, sediment, cyst (Giardia, Cryptosporidium), sand, rust, dirt, and other undissolved matter. * Stage 2: Water passes through a Granulated Activated Carbon cartridge (GAC). GAC cartridges are widely known as effective absorbents, and are capable of removing a wide variety of organic contaminants, such as chlorine (99.9%), chemicals linked to cancer (THM's, benzine), pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), PCB's, MTBE's, and hundreds of other chemical contaminants that may be present in water. * Stage 3:Water flows through another one-micron filtration pad for further reduction of undesirable particles * Stage 4: Water travels through 50 GDP TFC Reverse Osmosis Membrane, which removes lead, sodium, cyanide, ammonium, mercury, bromide, cadmium, trivalent chromium, magnesium, fluoride, nitrates, nitrites and many other water contaminants. * Stage 5:Water flows through pre one - micron filter pads (1 micron equals 1/25,000th of an inch) * Stages 6 and 7:Water flows through 2 beds of Redox (Oxidation/reduction process) media made of a special high-purity alloy blend of two dissimilar metals - copper and zinc. * Stage 8:Water flows through the ion exchange resin, reducing heavy metals such as lead, copper, aluminum, and water hardness. * Stage 9:Water passes through granulated activated carbon (GAC). * Stage 10:Water flows through another one-micron filtration pad for further reduction of undesirable particles Portable Reverse Osmosis Water Filter features: * Convenient easy to use hookup to the sink faucet * More than 50 GPD / 76 liters per day capable membrane (!) * All hardware is included Portable RO System can be used in trailers, RVs and boats - just hook it up to a sink faucet!
