Diablo Ninebark
Diablos beautiful dark purple foliage and contrasting 1-2' snowball flowers in late spring and early summer make a real display in the landscape. This rugged shrub is hardy, adaptable to difficult soils and pest free in sunny garden areas. It makes a great addition to the shrub border, foundation planting, as a hedge or for low maintenance erosion control. The common name comes from the exfoliating bark on mature stems that reveals the red inner-wood in the winter. Grows 4-8 tall and wide.
