Flame Grass
Flame grass provides outstanding foliage year-round and makes a dramatic addition to your landscape. Early in the year mounded foliage starts out green but changes to reddish-purple hues as the summer progresses. Bright silky flower heads adorn the foliage making a splendid backdrop all the way through winter. Flame grass is a perfect addition as a background plant to your perennial garden or can be used to accent your landscape. Grows 3-4' tall with flower plumes 5-6'. Plant 15-24'' apart. Extremely hardy plants. Good for cut arrangements. Deer resistant. For a rain garden.
