French La Ratte Potato
La Ratte is highly sought after for its smooth, buttery texture and rich, well-rounded flavor which hints of hazelnut and chestnut. A highly recommended variety which many think is the best tasting fingerling on the market. Excellent for salads and boiling because of its waxy, firm texture. It is a shapely potato with golden brown tubers and yellow flesh. Commands a high price in the restaurant and fresh market trade. 100-120 days. 100 eyes will plant 100 hills.
