Horseradish
Fresh grated horseradish that will make the tears run down your cheeks! Great on roasts or in sauce for seafood. Piece-roots planted this spring will make good roots by fall. Set them vertically, small end down and large end 2-3 inches below soil surface. Grown as a perennial, horseradish is hardy to -10°F. It can be grown as an annual everywhere.
