Indian Warrior Big Blue Stem Grass
The color show starts off green then transitions in midsummer to red with purple dusky tones, followed by deep purple in mid-fall. Deep purple flowers with bright red orange pollen are visibly showy. A native grass with a tall, upright form, Indian Warrior adapts easily to a wide range of soil and moisture conditions as long as full sun is provided. This long-lived grass has a variety of uses including screening, naturalizing, restoring prairies, and nesting materials for birds and mammals. Drought and heat tolerant. Grows 5-6
