Prairie Red Plum
Prairie Red is a hybrid winter hardy, self fertile plum that needs no pollinator. White flowers in May are followed by 1 ½” – 2” reddish yellow fruit. Can be used as a windbreak or an ornamental tree. It produces a sweet edible fruit which can be made into jelly. The plum furnishes both good habitat and food for wildlife. Grows 10-15
