The Red Cardinal Flower is a perennial that has crimson leaves and spikes with scarlet flowers on 2-3' tall stems. Blooms mid-summer to mid-autumn. Grows well near wet areas. Red Cardinal Flowers are perfect for summer bedding in clumps or mixed with annuals. Attracts both hummingbirds and butterflies.
