Doulton Ultracarb W9123053 replacement cartridge is a 10x2 micro filter + GAC carbon, Super Sterasyl candle for Doulton HIP, HIS, HCPS and other similar water filter systems. Doulton Ultracarb W9123053 Candle Filter features: The Doulton W9123053 is a replacement filter for the following water filter systems: Doulton HIP, Doulton HCP, Doulton HIS. It is a ceramic candle cartridge manufactured by Doulton featuring activated carbon core and a Sterasyl ceramic outer shell. It is placed inside a filter housing and is attached via plastic connector. Four stages of filtration, reduces suspended solids, pathogenic bacteria and organics, chlorine and improves taste and odor. Filter is self-sterilizing , bacteriostatic which means there's no bacteria growth in carbon layer. NOTE: this cartridge will NOT fit gravity fed systems, you will need 7 inch candles for these.
